Chief Product Officer
Jacob has been involved in product development for over 10 years, and for the past 4 years he has led startups in their effort to successful launches. The early years were spent on the business side of the table as he developed pricing stragies for the Xbox 360 at Microsoft and growth strategies for new channels at AT&T Wireless. Proudly born and raised in the great northwest cities of Portland and Seattle, he initially landed in Boulder to train and race as an elite Triathlete. A passion for creating a product from scratch pushed Jacob to develop his techinical abilities. This allowed him to contribute to building and launching products using languages such as Rails and Objective-C. Jacob has a BA in Economics from University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
David works with us as a senior product design and UX advisor and front end software engineer through his company Kytheram. He’s worked on everything from unmanned drones (with a recently issued patent in that space) to mobile apps, in each case making the products, interfaces and experiences amazing and delightful. David has two degrees from MIT in computer science, focusing on AI and human- computer interaction. He was co-founder and CTO with Jacob at the restaurant and hotel mobile app Spotze, and prior to that UI/UX designer for Xobni, acquired by Yahoo.
Brand and Marketing Manager
After working in equity sales and trading on Wall Street, Davis headed west for Boulder Digital Works, a program that merges design thinking, technology and entrepreneurship. At BDW, Davis worked on projects that gained national attention in The Economist, Fast Company, and Mashable, among others. He has led a team of four to launch a startup within four months, employing skills in design, user experience and development to create a memorable product. In addition to navigating Wall Street, Davis has led the advance teams for national political campaigns and guided expeditions in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Seemingly disparate, these experiences inspired a multi-faceted approach to problem solving. He believes that a distinct response to user needs relies on innovation. When not plugged in and online, you will find Davis adventuring by bike, skis or boat.
